Welcome to DocuPocket! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform, including our mobile apps, website, and related services (“Platform”).
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use DocuPocket.
1. Who can use DocuPocket
You must be:
At least 16 years old
Legally able to enter into a binding contract
Using the service for business or personal use, not for unlawful activity
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
2. Our services
DocuPocket offers tools to:
Upload, scan, and store compliance-related documents
Automatically extract data like expiry dates using OCR
Organise documents with tags and folders
Receive automated reminders before important deadlines
We are not responsible for your compliance with legal obligations or regulatory deadlines. We provide reminders, not legal advice.
3. Your content
You own the documents and data you upload.
You give us permission to:
Store and process your documents securely
Extract relevant metadata (e.g., expiry dates) to provide core features
Send you alerts and notifications
You must not upload illegal, harmful, or confidential content that violates laws or the rights of others.
4. Pricing and plans
DocuPocket is offered as:
Free Plan: Limited uploads, basic features
Premium Plan: Enhanced features (see pricing on our website)
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime, and your plan will remain active until the end of the billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for unused time.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep DocuPocket available 24/7, but we may occasionally need to:
Perform maintenance or upgrades
Modify features or services
Suspend access for technical or legal reasons
We’ll notify you of major changes where possible.
6. Privacy and security
Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We follow best practices for data encryption, GDPR compliance, and secure storage.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms
You use the Platform for unlawful purposes
Your subscription lapses and your free quota is exceeded
We may delete your data after termination unless legally required to retain it.
8. Legal limitations
DocuPocket is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee:
That reminders will always be sent or received
That OCR will extract data with perfect accuracy
That storing documents in DocuPocket ensures legal compliance
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, including fines due to missed renewals.
9. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where our service is registered. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you via the Platform or by email. Your continued use of DocuPocket after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
