Welcome to DocuPocket! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform, including our mobile apps, website, and related services (“Platform”).

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use DocuPocket.

1. Who can use DocuPocket

You must be:

  • At least 16 years old

  • Legally able to enter into a binding contract

  • Using the service for business or personal use, not for unlawful activity

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Our services

DocuPocket offers tools to:

  • Upload, scan, and store compliance-related documents

  • Automatically extract data like expiry dates using OCR

  • Organise documents with tags and folders

  • Receive automated reminders before important deadlines

We are not responsible for your compliance with legal obligations or regulatory deadlines. We provide reminders, not legal advice.

3. Your content

You own the documents and data you upload.

You give us permission to:

  • Store and process your documents securely

  • Extract relevant metadata (e.g., expiry dates) to provide core features

  • Send you alerts and notifications

You must not upload illegal, harmful, or confidential content that violates laws or the rights of others.

4. Pricing and plans

DocuPocket is offered as:

  • Free Plan: Limited uploads, basic features

  • Premium Plan: Enhanced features (see pricing on our website)

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime, and your plan will remain active until the end of the billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for unused time.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep DocuPocket available 24/7, but we may occasionally need to:

  • Perform maintenance or upgrades

  • Modify features or services

  • Suspend access for technical or legal reasons

We’ll notify you of major changes where possible.

6. Privacy and security

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

We follow best practices for data encryption, GDPR compliance, and secure storage.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • You use the Platform for unlawful purposes

  • Your subscription lapses and your free quota is exceeded

We may delete your data after termination unless legally required to retain it.

8. Legal limitations

DocuPocket is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee:

  • That reminders will always be sent or received

  • That OCR will extract data with perfect accuracy

  • That storing documents in DocuPocket ensures legal compliance

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, including fines due to missed renewals.

9. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where our service is registered. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you via the Platform or by email. Your continued use of DocuPocket after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
